ULTI-PRO 100
processing aid is a reactive viscosity modifier for difficult-to-process
rubber compounds. It lowers the uncured viscosity
of the rubber compound, while increasing hardness
and dynamic stiffness. ULTI-PRO 100 additive can be used in almost
any compound.
As a viscosity modifier, it can be used to replace liquid rubbers,
fatty acid (and other) processing aids, and oils, but with an improvement
in cured rubber properties. Because of the good cured stiffness
it builds, ULTI-PRO 100 additive can also be used as a partial
replacement for phenolic-reinforced resins, but without contributing
to the green compound boardiness typical with phenolic resin use.
